...Um... I don't mean to be a pain... and I'm not sure if this has been said already or not. But.

Why is a 'post your mood' thread in the Emo Corner board?

I know some might not be aware of this but not all moods are negative. I know that probably the majority of this thread is people saying 'shitty' or 'bad' etc. etc. But what if they happened to be feeling normal, and wanted to share it?

I'm sure people have, and have posted it anyways. But I'm just saying wouldn't this thread make more sense to be in the Life Lounge?

Just voicing out my thoughts on something I noticed that seemed a bit off though. Do what you want.

The way I look at it, emo = emotional (even if I joke around with the stereotype sometimes . . . XD *coughimahypocritecough* ;O), so to me it fits in there. I don't know what everyone else thinks of it though, far as I know they go by the stereotype so they might agree with you.

It's there because Fallen posted it there when Emo Corner started and it's been there for so long people may go into shock if they check that forum and see the sticky topic isn't there.

It would actually be better fit in General Garden, in my opinion.

However, the forums need to be re-thought now in my opinion. Ever since Serious Sea was removed It's hard to determine what goes where. One of my ideas was a type of tier system for the four major forums based on how... serious (for lack of a proper word) a topic is.

I think Emo Corner's purpose needs a change anyway; not just because I don't like the name of it (Fallen threw off the same-letter consistency I had going! :<) but because I'd rather it have a wider purpose... not just ranting, which is what it's used for now (That is, of course, aside from the best/worst quality fad I inadvertantly started... I put my topic in that forum because I wanted it to be serious).

I suppose that could hold true. But it just seems to me like to board is made more for complaints, rants, and grievances than it is expression of joy.

Par example. The description of the board; 'Feeling mad? Sad? Post here to let it all out. Rules apply.'

One would think if it was really equally emotional on all fronts it would say something more like 'Tell us how you're feeling', or something to that effect, rather than that.

But. What do you guys think?

MAybe Emo Corner should become the new Srerios Sea.
It would make sense.
Most people rant about serious things, after all.
Post your mood and some other topics could be
moved to their respective strength forums, as well.

Pointless Paradise would be for unimportant, foolling around stuff.
General Garden for more general stuff, of course,
Life lounge for general school/life stuff,
and Serious Sea for the more serious topics/ current events.

Post your mood would probably be better in Life Lounge.

Thot and Kikyo both have good points. Going back to what Shrine said about the purpose of Emo Corner; The purpose of Emo Corner definitally needs to be redifined, maybe going as far as to just combletely abolishing it from the list. I definitally agree with Kikyo's set up with the four boards. Maybe it's time to say farewell to our beloved Emo Corner. =[

Emo corner is in no way like Serious sea. Serious sea was designed to debate serious things. ex. Politics, religion etc..
Emo corner is to rant about stuff, not discuss it.
If the description is what is throwing you guys off, I'll change it. 0.0 I didn't know people looked at the descriptions. Hell, for the hidden stuff we don't even HAVE descriptions. xD

Yeah descriptions do aid in our understanding...maybe... I'm smart <.< >.>

I think we forgot to add 'religion and political topics are banned' in the last version of the rules we did.

Actually, scratch that. I see what Fallen means. Leave Emo Corner as is, but we need another forum for serious discussion. Emo Corner could be a sub forum of that forum.

Yes. I think that a new serious sea would be good.
And I agree that there shouldn't be in-depth political/religious discussions.
Simply stating your own beliefs shoudl be as far as it goes;
there is no need to comment on others or bash them.
Unfortunately, that's not possible, so they should be banned.
