Much like Death Note: R, FMA: Brotherhood is going to be a re-release, but unlike Death Note: R it's going to be bit more of re-telling of a story with quite a few different story twists.

Apparently it will have a totally different beginning (SPOILERS AHEAD), Basque Gran gets killed right off the bat, and Ed & Al are already at the Tucker residence, only this time they aren't studying, they're 'researching', meaning we may get a whole different look at our FMA storyline. (And more money to waste as collectors... x~x)

Oh yeah, I heard about this!
I think it's awesome.
And, I believe they're doing the entire series over.
At least, that's what my magazine said.
But, it's great!
The anime really deviated from the mnga's story,
and the ending especially was just all wrong.
I am definitely looking forwards to the new series!

..Rewriting? I really enjoyed the anime over the manga. Plus it sounds like they just want to milk more out of the fanbase. :?

Meh, that's what every company wants. x_x (Just look at what poor Sonic had to go through.)
I never read the manga, but I did love the series. If this turns out good I might collect it as well (the anime, I have other more important manga to collect. >.>).

I loved the manga, therefore was a bit disappointed with how much the Anime deviated. <_<
The manga isn't even complete, at least not in America [unless the on that comes out this month is the final one.]
Anyway, I love the manga, the story's much deeper and intense.
