I know that you're usually not (WWX day 1 is a perfect example, you voted for at least half the players) one to follow bandwagons, it's just sort of an automatic idea that pops into my head whenever somebody doesn't follow a bandwagon on day one. However, considering the argument between Beta and Oba at this point, I would say that it's easier to abstain from bandwagoning either.

That said, Laughie makes a good point.

Retract

I shouldn't be so willing to follow bandwagons.

TCat makes a decent point about Beta coming out and setting up a discussion for others to reveal roles. I didn't tempt it.

Also, TCat-I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about with Beta's first post.
Sorry, guess I should have elaborated on that. When Sprite first opened this thread, we just had to post that we had our roles. There was nothing else we had to do for Night 0 except send in the actions. So starting speculation in the first post felt like an attempt for discussion where someone could mention their role and give further reasoning to target someone. Normally, the first few posts in games are usually a reaction to a storyboard (which we didn't have) or random voting (which we couldn't do since it was night). That's what makes me suspicious of him.

Every player must cast a vote or the Day will not end.
Take as much time as you need.

Never happened.

But [and I don't want to put pressure on anyone, mind], I'd really like to have Day 1 finished by Sunday.

I started discussion because it was the only night phase when we'd be allowed to talk. Why waste a night phase where we're allowed to talk? It could only help us in the long run to start speculating.

Ah, now I see where you're going with that Tcat. When I look back, I see that Dacid, Beta, and Oba were the major posters inb4 the story was posted. Beta was seen suspected Dacid and Ridds, and Dacid was then seen suspecting Beta for making such accusations before even a story was posted. I don't believe either Beta or Oba to be foolish enough to post in such a fashion were they wolves. And being in direct disagreement with Dacid, it was easy to set them up for the kill. It matches up, right?

Although Beta makes a good argument it would seem, it appears mostly speculation. And his vote for Oba over me is fairly rediculous, considering I have hardly played a game with him, so he can't really pass judgment on my playing style.

In comes Riddle. It makes perfect sense he would claim to be a detective, and demand protection each night. If there were a vigi role (Which I doubt there is in a game so small) He'd get protection, and the wolves wouldn't have to worry about being blocked. It would be very simple to make it look like either Beta or Oba to be a wolf, as Dacid revealed his role before the game started.

I didn't like my vote on TCat, but I couldn't formulate an argument against not voting for either Oba or Beta. Now I do, and I like it. I'm sticking to Riddle for now. More support as it comes to me.

...Laughie...do I really have to do this...

[/sigh]

Really, Laughie, if I don't have the support of enough people on this, I may not get the necessary protection I need. I'm not lying about being detective. I tried to detect Dacid last night and came up with no conclusion, because "I had chosen the wrong guy to examine" or something like that. That isn't a fib and can be backed up by the story. It makes mention of other beings there, exactly as Beta pointed out, so I could've very easily been blocked or Sprite could've just made it so Dacid couldn't be detected. There's a plethora of explanations that can be applied to one key instance.

Also, I came out with it right away to clear things up and to get general support from the town on whom I should inspect every night to give us an advantage. By doing so, we could very easily gain a general consensus on who the most suspicious person is and confirm their alignment. Do you want to lose that right away, Laughie?

I really hate role reveals. It messes everything up. It's pretty much just Oba and Beta right now. I don't really like either option. Lynching one doesn't particularly confirm or deny the other being a wolf this time. Both have rather good sides. But I am leaning a little more towards Beta. His claim to be able to read me better than Oba isn't based off much cuz I haven't even played a full game with him. Don't like my vote on TCat either, because I don't have a reason to vote for her mostly.

Hmph, this phase didn't show any usefulness to me... :\
Too many long winded, paranoid speeches that showed little to no proof of anyone's guilt of being the wolf party, that said I don't see anyone I would find guilty, I will choose to be neutral this round.

Sorry for the late response, I just couldn't find anything worth commenting on and the deadline was sunday. >.> <.<

Sorry to keep everyone waiting.
I hate to be the annoying one who isnt as active as the others are.
But not as much as I hate being the one who it all comes down to.
Thus so, I have read over the past "arguements" (if that is what you call them)
And made a list of suspicousness and rated it on a scale of 1-10
Obachuka ended up with the most suspicion aroused.
It was close though.
So I place my vote on Oba

Vote Obachuka

Saturday? I do say there are some shenanigans involved if it takes almost a week to write a story.

Whoa what? I get lynched before I can offer another defense? How can I be lynched with only 3 votes?
And the people who voted for me themselves had said my defense was valid. I'm looking at you guys.

Bull****, it takes me at most three days to write one and that's when I procrastinate and forget to do it.

Hey, at least she's telling us it'll take that long. I hate it when hosts say it'll be tomorrow, but post it 2-3 days later.

Kikyo should not be taking a week.

I was just yesterday proudly gloating to Betagold before how Kikyo and I get our narratives in promptly, and then she does this.

Boooooo.

Not in right mood to do narrative.
If you want it to be good, I have to be un-depressed.

Day 1

“Oh…” mused Peach the next morning. “I think I’ll visit Mario today… Luigi’s on an adventure to save Daisy, after all, so I bet Mario’s pretty lonely!”
Peach strolled over to Mario’s house, to arrive at a devastating scene. The noble Bow, princess of the Boos, was lying on the ground- in shreds! What could possibly do such a thing to a Boo? Peach gasped. Mario’s front door was open! Peach cautiously strode into Mario’s house, terrified at what she may find. Did someone attack Mario, too?
Mario’s house was a mess. His books and letters were strewn all over, not normal for the obsessively-organized Mario. Someone had come. Cautiously, Peach searched the entire house, worried that she may discover the bloody corpse of Mario. Luckily, she found none, but she did find obvious signs of a struggle.
Mario had been kidnapped! Peach knew the signs- she herself had been kidnapped many times before- it was pretty common amongst nobility. What was odd, though, was that there was no ransom note.
Peach hurried swiftly back to her new twilight castle, where she spent summers, and informed the twilight Toads of Mario’s kidnapping.
The Toads were outraged. “Wait! We know who did it!” One of them suddenly cried. “Let’s get her!”
“Wait, who?” Peach asked, but it was too late. The Toads were already out the door, pitchforks and torches at the ready.

Watt floated out of her house, into the beautifully warm sunny day. Twilight Town had never been the same since she had moved there. All she longed for was a little darkness, but for some reason, everywhere she went became bright.
“Rahh! Get her!” Watt looked up to see a massive wave of angry Toads with pit forks and torches rapidly approaching her.
“Eee!” She screeched, quickly floating away.
The Toads persisted in their mission, chasing Watt all over town. Eventually, they forced her through a warp-pipe, and followed her.
They were in the Rougeport sewers. Watt was on the edge of the concrete walkway, next to the water.
“So it ends here…” Watt murmured, as the Toads drove her into the water. Watt short-circuited, and her life ended.
Twilight Town became twilight-dark again. The Toads returned to the castle, and informed Peach of Watt’s demise.
Peach was angry. “What have you done?” she asked them. “Watt was the beacon of light for this town! She would never have kidnapped Mario! What possessed you to think she would?”
“Uh, well,” the Toads murmured, “We thought she may have, uh, been envious, and wanted Mario for herself. That’s would explain why Bow was dead, too, you know?”
Peach turned her back on the Toads and went to her private room, where she stared at her life-sized Mario poster and doll set, and prepared her speech to the town regarding the tragic events that had occurred.

Night 2

Mrs. Mowz yawned. It was time for her to get out and do her thing. Maybe she would be able to find someone with a few cool badges.
She moseyed off towards the tree-house of a younger villager, who she knew had been good friends with Mario. Perhaps he would have some badges for her, since he had some experience with badge hunting.
In actuality, Mrs. Mowz did not expect to find anything, for the only person good enough to actually find badges for her was Mario, and he had gone and gotten himself kidnapped!
"Wait a second;" Mrs. Mowz proclaimed. "What am I doing looking for badges when I can be out looking for Mario?!"
She quickly scampered away through the always twilight mist that spread throughout the town. Soon, she came upon Creepy Steeple.
"This place has always given me the creeps... Alas, if there's a chance a clue is there, I must go in!"
"No, I don't think you will, Sweetie," a voice said, from behind her.
"Why not?" Mrs. Mowz said, turning. "Huh? I could have sworn I just heard-"
"Oh, yes, here, is this better?"
Mrs. Mowz's eyes widened in surprise, as she realized who had been behind her. "You!"
"Haha, yes, me!"
"But, why was Mario, of all people, kidnapped…?"
A deeper voice intervened, as its owner stepped into the courtyard. "That is for me to know, and you to find out in- Never!"
"Oh, I will find out, don't you worry, honey," Mrs. Mowz said, with a wink.
"Ugh! How brazen of you, daring to flirt!" The first one said, with a hint of jealousy.
Mrs. Mowz never knew what happened next, but she did know that whatever they did, she ended up dead.

* * *

Meanwhile, another old friend of Mario was mulling about, as well, also searching for clues. This friend walked across the town thirty-three times, throughout the entire night, attempting to find a certain person, whom it believed had possible clues to Mario's kidnapping.
Suddenly, the creature began to run. It swore that it had seen a glimpse of the creature it needed to speak to- wait, no, there was nothing there. Odd.
"Must have been a figment of my imagination… yawn…"
Eventually, this creature retreated to its house. It would have to look for Mario some other day.
Before it went to bed, the creature kneeled at the foot of its bed, and preyed to the noble Star Spirits that no harm would befall anyone in the town this night; the events of the prior were just too much. Unfortunately, the creature did not realize that it was already too late for this wish to pass.
