Night 2
Mrs. Mowz yawned. It was time for her to get out and do her thing. Maybe she would be able to find someone with a few cool badges. She moseyed off towards the tree-house of a younger villager, who she knew had been good friends with Mario. Perhaps he would have some badges for her, since he had some experience with badge hunting. In actuality, Mrs. Mowz did not expect to find anything, for the only person good enough to actually find badges for her was Mario, and he had gone and gotten himself kidnapped! "Wait a second;" Mrs. Mowz proclaimed. "What am I doing looking for badges when I can be out looking for Mario?!" She quickly scampered away through the always twilight mist that spread throughout the town. Soon, she came upon Creepy Steeple. "This place has always given me the creeps... Alas, if there's a chance a clue is there, I must go in!" "No, I don't think you will, Sweetie," a voice said, from behind her. "Why not?" Mrs. Mowz said, turning. "Huh? I could have sworn I just heard-" "Oh, yes, here, is this better?" Mrs. Mowz's eyes widened in surprise, as she realized who had been behind her. "You!" "Haha, yes, me!" "But, why was Mario, of all people, kidnapped…?" A deeper voice intervened, as its owner stepped into the courtyard. "That is for me to know, and you to find out in- Never!" "Oh, I will find out, don't you worry, honey," Mrs. Mowz said, with a wink. "Ugh! How brazen of you, daring to flirt!" The first one said, with a hint of jealousy. Mrs. Mowz never knew what happened next, but she did know that whatever they did, she ended up dead.

Meanwhile, another old friend of Mario was mulling about, as well, also searching for clues. This friend walked across the town thirty-three times, throughout the entire night, attempting to find a certain person, whom it believed had possible clues to Mario's kidnapping. Suddenly, the creature began to run. It swore that it had seen a glimpse of the creature it needed to speak to- wait, no, there was nothing there. Odd. "Must have been a figment of my imagination… yawn…" Eventually, this creature retreated to its house. It would have to look for Mario some other day. Before it went to bed, the creature kneeled at the foot of its bed, and preyed to the noble Star Spirits that no harm would befall anyone in the town this night; the events of the prior were just too much. Unfortunately, the creature did not realize that it was already too late for this wish to pass.
